Campus Climate Reporting System
The Campus Climate Reporting System (CCRS) is a mechanism for members of the Iowa State community to report an incident of concern that they feel negatively impacts the campus climate, and receive support from university resources to help address how this incident impacted them. Incidents should be reported via the Campus Climate Incident Reporting Form.
Anyone filing a report will receive an acknowledgement email. A member of the CCRS team will then review and follow up on the report. CCRS is support services centered. Members of the CCRS team do not investigate allegations of misconduct, do not make determinations of policy violations and have no role in administering discipline of any kind.
Submitting a report through the CCRS is not considered filing a complaint regarding university policy or legal violations. If the report contains facts that reasonably suggest a violation of university policy or law, the individual making the report will be referred to the appropriate campus unit and established channels for making a formal complaint.
The CCRS team, which is comprised of ISU faculty and staff (listed below), meets once a semester to discuss the broader campus climate and is able to communicate in real-time as needed.
Anyone encountering a situation that requires immediate police assistance, medical or other emergency services should call the Iowa State University Police Department (ISUPD) at 515-294-4428 or 911.
